2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through TraffiCola and its products, including Video Dominator.

It also applies to information we receive through authorized integrations with third-party platforms, including:

  • Facebook;
  • Instagram;
  • LinkedIn;
  • TikToc;
  • X;
  • YouTube and other Google services; and
  • Other social, advertising, media, or publishing platforms that we may support.

This Privacy Policy does not govern how those third-party platforms independently collect, use, or disclose information. Their own privacy policies and terms apply to information they process.

We use this information to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

3.3 Payment Information

When paid services are offered, payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers.

TraffiCola does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card-security codes. Payment providers may collect and process payment information under their own privacy policies.

3.4 User Content

When you use our content-creation and publishing tools, we may process content and associated information such as:

  • Videos;
  • Images;
  • Photographs;
  • Logos;
  • Audio recordings;
  • Voiceovers;

  • Generated content; and
  • Other files or information you choose to provide.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful authority needed to upload, process, and publish this content.

4. Information From Connected Social Platforms

When you connect a social-media or publishing account, the platform may provide information according to the permissions you approve.

Depending on the platform and features selected, this may include:

  • Platform user or account identifier;
  • Display name;
  • Username or handle;
  • Profile image;
  • Email address, where authorized;
  • Connected pages, profiles, organizations, channels, or business accounts;
  • Account roles and administrative permissions;
  • Granted authorization scopes;
  • Access tokens;
  • Refresh tokens;
  • Token expiration information;
  • Posting permissions;
  • Available publishing options;
  • Privacy or visibility options;
  • Platform-specific media requirements;
  • Post, video, media, channel, page, or campaign identifiers;
  • Upload and publishing status;
  • Scheduled-post information;
  • Post-processing status;
  • Error codes;
  • Comments, reactions, or engagement data where authorized;
  • Analytics or performance information where authorized; and
  • Other information permitted by the connected platform and approved by you.

TraffiCola does not receive or store your social-platform password when standard OAuth authorization is used. You enter your password directly on the third-party platform’s authorization page.

5. OAuth Tokens and Connected Accounts

We use authorization technologies such as OAuth to connect third-party accounts.

Access tokens and refresh tokens allow TraffiCola to perform only the activities covered by the permissions you approve, such as:

  • Confirming which account is connected;
  • Uploading a draft;
  • Publishing approved content;
  • Scheduling a post;
  • Checking processing status;
  • Retrieving permitted analytics; or
  • Managing content at your direction.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect tokens and other credentials. Tokens are not intended to be displayed publicly or shared with unauthorized parties.

We do not use connected-account permissions to post unrelated content or access information outside the permissions you granted.

6. Automated Content Creation and Publishing

TraffiCola may provide automated or AI-assisted features that:

  • Generate scripts, captions, images, audio, or videos;
  • Assemble promotional media;
  • Suggest publishing information;
  • Prepare posts;
  • Upload content to platform drafts or inboxes;
  • Schedule content;
  • Publish content at a selected time;
  • Monitor upload or processing status;
  • Retry failed processing;
  • Archive campaign information; or
  • Retrieve authorized post-performance information.

Automated actions are performed according to the account connections, settings, approvals, schedules, and instructions supplied by the user.

When a user selects scheduled or automated publication, the user authorizes TraffiCola to perform the selected action at the specified time. Users should review content, account selection, disclosures, captions, privacy settings, and schedules before approving publication.

We do not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.

7. Artificial Intelligence and Media Processing

Certain features may use artificial-intelligence, text-to-speech, image-generation, audio-processing, rendering, transcription, or other technology providers.

We may transmit the content and instructions necessary to perform the feature requested by the user. This can include prompts, scripts, images, audio, campaign details, or other content.

We limit this processing to providing, maintaining, securing, and improving the requested Services.

TraffiCola does not use connected social-platform data to create unrelated advertising profiles or to train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model owned by TraffiCola.

Third-party AI or media-processing providers may process information according to their contracts with us and their applicable privacy terms.

8. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and administer accounts;
  • Authenticate users;
  • Connect authorized social accounts;
  • Generate and process content;
  • Render and store videos;
  • Upload drafts;
  • Schedule or publish posts;
  • Provide campaign-management tools;
  • Retrieve authorized publishing results;
  • Display authorized analytics;
  • Refresh or revoke authorization tokens;
  • Provide technical support;
  • Respond to requests;

  • Comply with applicable law;
  • Protect users, TraffiCola, and third parties; and
  • Develop and improve the Services.

9. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Services you requested.
  • Consent: Processing based on permissions or choices you provided, including social-account authorization.
  • Legitimate interests: Processing necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligations: Processing necessary to comply with law, legal process, or regulatory requirements.
  • Protection of rights: Processing necessary to prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or protect users and the public.

You may withdraw consent by disconnecting an account or contacting us, although withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

10. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients.

10.1 Connected Social Platforms

When you direct us to upload, schedule, publish, or manage content, we send the necessary content and information to the selected platform.

Once content is submitted, that platform processes it according to its own terms, privacy policy, visibility settings, and community rules.

10.2 Service Providers

We may use service providers for:

  • Website and application hosting;
  • Cloud storage;
  • Content delivery;
  • Database services;
  • Video rendering;
  • AI generation;
  • Speech generation;
  • Email delivery;
  • Customer support;
  • Security and fraud prevention;
  • Error monitoring;
  • Analytics; and
  • Payment processing.

Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate contractual or legal obligations.

10.3 Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law or legal process;
  • Respond to lawful government requests;
  • Protect the rights or safety of a person;
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
  • Enforce agreements; or
  • Protect TraffiCola’s Services and infrastructure.

10.4 Business Transactions

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

Any successor will remain subject to applicable privacy obligations concerning transferred personal information.

11. Sale and Advertising Use of Information

TraffiCola does not sell connected social-platform data.

We do not disclose OAuth tokens, private account data, or unpublished user content to third parties for their independent advertising purposes.

If our practices change in a way that constitutes selling or sharing personal information under applicable law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notice or opt-out mechanism before applying the change.

12. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with platform requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

Retention may include:

  • Account information while an account remains active;
  • Generated projects and media until deleted by the user or removed under an account-retention process;
  • Access and refresh tokens until they expire, are revoked, are disconnected, or are no longer required;
  • Publishing records while needed for campaign history, troubleshooting, or compliance;
  • Security and system logs for a limited operational period;
  • Transaction records for the period required by tax, accounting, or financial laws; and
  • Backup copies for a limited period under our backup and disaster-recovery procedures.

Some information may be retained longer when necessary to investigate fraud, preserve evidence, comply with law, enforce an agreement, or protect legal rights.

Platform-specific requirements may require a shorter retention period. Where a platform requires deletion or refresh within a particular period, we will apply the platform-specific requirement to the relevant platform data.

13. Disconnecting Social Accounts

You may disconnect a social account through the TraffiCola account settings where that feature is available.

You may also request disconnection by emailing:

privacy@trafficola.com

After disconnection:

  • TraffiCola will stop using the disconnected authorization for new actions;
  • Associated tokens will be revoked or deleted where supported and appropriate;
  • Previously published content may remain on the social platform;
  • Posts already submitted for processing may continue to be processed by the platform; and
  • Certain limited records may remain where required for security, legal, or compliance purposes.

Disconnecting an account from TraffiCola does not automatically delete content already published on the third-party platform. Users must use the platform’s tools to edit or remove content hosted by that platform.

14. Data Access, Correction, Export, and Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion;
  • Request a portable copy;

Deleting TraffiCola’s stored data does not necessarily delete posts, messages, or other information stored independently by Facebook or Instagram.

16. TikTok Data and Content Posting

When a user connects TikTok, TraffiCola may process information authorized by the user, such as:

  • TikTok account identifier;
  • Display name;

When authorization is revoked, we will revoke or delete associated credentials and delete stored authorized YouTube API Data within the applicable period required by YouTube’s policies.

TraffiCola may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication;
  • Security;

A temporary cookie may be used to determine whether a browser accepts cookies.

Where required by law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies.

Users may control cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the operation of the Services.

22. Comments and Gravatar

When visitors leave comments, we may collect:

  • Information entered in the comment form;
  • IP address; and
  • Browser user-agent information.

This information may be used for spam prevention and site security.

An anonymized hash created from an email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether the commenter uses Gravatar. If a comment is approved, the associated profile image may be visible publicly with the comment.

Comments and associated metadata may be retained to support moderation, follow-up comments, security, and recordkeeping.

23. Uploaded Media and Location Information

Images and other files may contain embedded metadata, including location information such as EXIF GPS data.

Users should remove sensitive metadata before uploading media when they do not want that information included.

Visitors or recipients may be able to download publicly available files and extract embedded metadata.

24. Embedded Content

Pages may include embedded videos, images, posts, or other content from third-party websites.

Embedded content may behave as though the visitor accessed the third-party website directly. Those third parties may collect information, use cookies, or monitor interaction according to their own privacy practices.

25. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect information against:

  • Unauthorized access;
  • Unlawful use;

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their TraffiCola account credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized activity.

26. International Data Transfers

TraffiCola and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where a user resides.

Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized legal mechanisms or safeguards for international transfers.

27. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business users, creators, marketers, and adults capable of entering into a binding agreement.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

28. Regional Privacy Rights

Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights under laws such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, the United Kingdom GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar privacy laws.

These rights may include:

  • Knowing what information is collected;
  • Accessing information;
  • Correcting information;
  • Deleting information;
  • Receiving a portable copy;

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, and platforms.

TraffiCola is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties. Users should review the privacy policy and terms of each connected service.

TraffiCola is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with a social platform merely because the Services support an integration with that platform.

30. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

  • New features;
  • New integrations;
  • Operational changes;
  • Legal requirements;
  • Platform requirements; or
